Rolf Structural Integration

IMG_0345A hands-on manipulation and movement education developed by Ida. P. Rolf over 60 years ago, Rolf Structural Integration works on the fascia, (connective tissue,) to release, realign and balance the whole body, enhancing posture, fuller diaphragmatic breathing and freedom of movement.

MitchIMG_0345 Gries received his first 10 sessions of Rolfing in 1978, freeing his body, allowing him to speed up and dramatically improve his technical development as a professional dancer.  In 1993-94 Mitch studied with Charles Siemers, advanced Rolfer who spent 3 years studying with Ida Rolf.  Mr. Gries then became a certified Ida P. Rolf Structural Integration Therapist and offers the 10 sessions.  He also integrates Rolf Structural Integration with St. John Neuromuscular Therapy for the most comprehensive and precise soft tissue treatment for rapid pain relief. The giraffe is shown here to represent how your body will lengthen and most notably your neck will resemble that of an elegant giraffe.
